Get a full ecommerce manager.
Without the full salary.
I run the day to day of your Shopify store. Klaviyo, product listings, landing pages, content pages, theme edits, custom development, uptime. One flat rate of $2,500 a month, and you work with me directly every single time.
No contract. No agency pod. No developer to hire on the side.
The hiring problem
You have been offered three bad options.
Hire a full-time ecommerce manager
$85k to $130k a year
Plus payroll tax, benefits, PTO, and two months of ramp before they are useful. Most of them cannot write a line of Liquid either, so you end up hiring a developer on top of that.
Sign an agency retainer
$4,000 to $10,000 a month
You meet the senior on the sales call. Then a junior runs your account, and anything outside the statement of work becomes a change order and a two week delay.
Stitch together freelancers
Three invoices, three timelines
An email person, a dev, a listings person. None of them talk to each other, and you turn into the project manager holding it all together.
There is a fourth option. One experienced operator who does all of it, for a flat $2,500 a month.
What I handle
Everything below. Not a menu, the whole thing.
This is not a list of what I am willing to quote for. It is what the monthly rate already covers.
Email, SMS & retention
Klaviyo- Flows built and maintained: welcome, abandoned checkout, browse abandon, post purchase, winback
- Campaign calendar, builds, sends, and QA before every send
- Segmentation, list hygiene, and suppression rules
- Deliverability monitoring, sending domain setup, and warmup
- Subject line, offer, and creative testing
- SMS in Postscript or Attentive if you run it
Storefront & merchandising
Daily ops- Product listings: new products, variants, options, media, and copy
- Collection setup, sorting rules, and merchandising
- Landing pages for launches, promos, and paid traffic
- Content pages: about, FAQ, shipping, policies, size guides
- Homepage and product page updates
- Sale setup, promo swaps, discounts, and price changes
Development
No extra hire- Theme edits, new sections, and layout changes
- Custom Liquid, metafields, and metaobjects
- App integrations, and cleanup of the apps you stopped using
- Bug fixes with mobile and cross browser QA
- Site speed work
- Checkout and post purchase customization where your plan allows it
Reliability
Uptime- Uptime and error monitoring on the storefront
- Broken links, 404s, and redirect management
- Product data and inventory cleanup
- Third party sync issues: 3PL, ERP, subscriptions, reviews
- Peak readiness before BFCM and big launches, tested before traffic arrives
- A backup taken before anything risky goes near the theme
Growth & reporting
Numbers- Analytics setup and sanity checks in GA4, Shopify, and Klaviyo
- Product feeds for Google Shopping and the Meta catalog
- On-site SEO: collection copy, metadata, schema, and redirects
- Conversion passes on the product page, cart, and checkout flow
- A monthly written recap: what shipped, what it changed, what is next
- Straight answers when something is not working
The development line is the one that matters most. You do not need to hire a developer on top of me, and that is usually where the other options fall apart.

How it works
Week one you have a plan. Week one things start shipping.
Kickoff audit, week one
I go through the store, the Klaviyo account, the app stack, and the analytics, then come back with a prioritized list of what is broken, what is missing, and what is worth doing first. You get that list whether or not it flatters the last person who touched it.
A running queue
Send requests the way you already work: Slack, email, or your project board. I keep the queue visible and confirm what is in flight. Most things move within one business day.
Ship, then report
Changes go out tested, not hoped for. Once a month you get a plain English recap of what shipped, what it changed, and what I would do next.
Where this comes from
Hundreds of stores. Thousands of changes shipped.
Most of my career has been spent inside other people's Shopify stores, doing white label development and store operations for agencies and brands. Theme edits, product launches, listing overhauls, Klaviyo builds, migrations, and broken things fixed on a deadline.
Different stores, different stacks, the same job every time: make the change, do not break the store, ship it when I said I would. That reliability is the part most brands are actually missing.
The kind of work
Apparel, Shopify Plus
Rebuilt the product page around variant level media and a size guide driven by metaobjects, then built the full Klaviyo flow set behind it.
Supplements
Cleaned up a subscription migration that had left orphaned customers, then built the post purchase and winback flows that should have shipped with it.
Home goods
Several hundred listings rebuilt with consistent option naming, real media, and collection rules that finally sorted the way merchandising wanted.
Outdoor gear
A full peak season readiness pass: promo landing pages, sale mechanics, a speed pass, and QA on the whole checkout path before the traffic hit.
Client names withheld. Most of this ran under white label agreements, which is the trade off of being the person behind the agency instead of the logo on it.
Pricing
One rate. One invoice. No surprises.
Fractional Ecommerce Manager
$2,500 / month
Flat. Not a starting point, not a base rate with add-ons.
Start the conversationPriced separately: paid media buying and ad spend, photo and video production, and full replatform migrations. I will tell you up front if something falls into that column rather than letting you find out in week three.
I keep the roster small on purpose. There is a real limit to how many stores one person can run properly, and I would rather turn work down than let yours sit in a queue.
Fit
This works well for some brands and badly for others.
A good fit if
- You are doing roughly $500k to $10M a year
- You are on Shopify or Shopify Plus
- The owner or the marketing lead is doing store tasks they should not be doing
- You already have product and traffic, you need someone to operate
- You want one person accountable instead of four vendors pointing at each other
Not a fit if
- Pre-launch, with no product live yet
- You mainly need paid media bought and managed
- You want a full agency pod with a project manager and weekly status decks
- You need someone on call around the clock
Questions
The things people ask before they say yes.
How many hours a month is this?
I do not sell hours, I sell output. You get the work on this page handled, with most requests moving inside one business day. Some months are heavier than others. The rate does not change either way, and you never have to think about a timer.
Is it actually just you?
Yes. No junior account manager, no offshore team you never meet, no handoff after the sales call. You send it to me and I do it. That is the entire reason this works at this price.
What if I need more than one person can do?
I will tell you before it becomes a problem, and we prioritize together. I would rather say what is realistic than let something quietly slip. Genuinely large projects, like a full replatform, get scoped separately so they do not eat the month.
Do you work on platforms other than Shopify?
Shopify and Shopify Plus is where I am strongest and where I work fastest. Other platforms case by case, and I will tell you honestly if you would be better served by someone else.
What do you need to get started?
Staff access to Shopify, Klaviyo, and whatever else is in the stack, plus one short call so I know what actually matters to you this quarter. That is it. The audit starts the same week.
How do we communicate?
Slack, email, or your project board. Whatever your team already uses. I am not going to make you learn my system.
Why is this cheaper than an agency doing the same work?
No sales team, no account managers, no office, no margin stacked on top of a contractor. You are paying for one person's time and expertise instead of the layers wrapped around it.
Can I cancel?
Month to month with 30 days notice. No lock in, no penalty, and you keep everything built during the engagement.
Next step
Tell me what is not getting done.
Send over your store and the thing that keeps sliding to next week. I will reply with what I would do about it, whether or not we end up working together.
